It looks like Google has finally settled for what they do best (besides buying promising Web 2.0 startups). They made another search engine for videos (from different sources).
When you search using their video search, instead of simply displaying results from their past Google Video service and YouTube, you will now find results from other video websites as well.
As usual, this new service, will not be available for localized versions of Google for a while, be soon you'll also be able to use it from any of those.
Google says that were indexed a lot of video. From Youtube, Yahoo, Google Video and others.

ShellEnhancer also has advanced task switchers, live previews of open applications, and a task management system.
ShellEnhancer is an application designed to enhance the default shell of Windows and to make your life easier. ShellEnhancer allows you to make your own tasks. Tasks consist of a number of commands which get executed one after the other. Available commands include: insert text, send keystroke, manipulate windows, run program, start screensaver, lock workstation and many others. Tasks can be executed with hotkeys, mouse gestures or screen corners. This can also be automated with the Auto Managed Windows feature.
ShellEnhancer has quickly made its way onto my list of mandatory Windows applications.
ShellEnhancer is a free download for Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Microsoft
has announced a new deal with
Linspire that expands its any one but Red Hat group to three.
The deal, like Novell and Xandros before it includes office document compatibility, instant messaging interoperability and collaboration on digital media. Again the big ticket part of the deal inlcudes patent covenants from Microsoft for customers operating the Linspire desktop.
Amusingly Microsoft says that the deal “promotes customer choice”, which it does as long as the choice isn’t Red Hat, the most serious Linux commercial competitor to Microsoft.
